Retreat
is our family home set on ten acres on the
edge of the Waikari Village - 2.5km from State Highway 7
off the Waikari-Hawarden Road. On a quiet scenic touring route
between Christchurch, Kaikoura and Hanmer Springs (The Alpine Pacific
Triangle). Catering mainly for touring cyclists we offer
dinner, bed and breakfast.
Hosts Brian and Julia O'Sullivan have travelled extensively. Brian is an experienced long distance cyclist - he was also a touring guide for a New Zealand based cycle touring company.
We offer:

Guests may enjoy gathering food from our garden and eating wholesome meals cooked by Julia. We also have a variety of animals including friendly sheep and ducks. You may walk to the top of our farmlet to enjoy the view.
